Jade is a Boston born actress. She attended Ithaca College where she received a BFA in acting. She is currently a member of Theatre Espresso and also presents HARRIET TUBMAN through Young Audiences of Massachusetts. She played Angela in TWO BOYS LOST by Bill Doncaster for Stickball Productions. She is so excited for this opportunity to work with this wonderful ensemble and Company One. -

Hailing from the crystal meth and pop punk mecca of the USA, native SoCal dude TJ Horn brings the thunder. Rachel Jayson
It's not a violin. It's a motherf$*%#n' viola! Rachel spends most of her time playing with the Broken Toys and Jaggery (the 5 piece torture-chamber-pop collective) but has also been spotted playing with What Time is it, Mr. Fox?, HUMANWINE, Bury Me Standing, and Earth, Wind, & Fire (which only happened once, but it sure did make her mom proud). You can find her flexing her MMEd from Boston Conservatory as Orchestra Director at Lexington High School and slinging fancy footwear on the weekends at John Fluevog Shoes. @musykchyk -
Alexandria King
Alexandria Danielle King is thrilled to be a part of the outstanding cast presenting SHOCKHEADED PETER! She is grateful to Company One and the artistic producing team that made this extraordinary play a reality for Boston theatre goers! Alexandria received her BA in Drama from Tufts University and studied with The Moscow Arts Theatre School. She currently works as a Theatre Arts Instructor with Company One. Previous acting credits include, Henrietta in HENRIETTA (Malden Reads), Charlotte in THE VAN MADER TRUST (NYC Fringe Festival), Fran in SPLENDOR (Company One), Tybalt in ROMEO & JULIET & R.Sykes/Tom in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD (New Rep), Masha in THE THREE SISTERS (Moscow Arts Theatre School).This performance is dedicated with deep gratitude to her ancestor, Francis Stedman. -
Jen Kenneally
Jen is thrilled to be a part of Shockheaded Peter. It is an all-time favorite show of hers and has greatly influenced her career, both as a performer and a teacher of theatre arts. Recent work includes Co-Producing and Directing The Bacchae as part of A.R.T’s Oberon New Works Series and the Outside the Box Festival. Favorite roles include Magenta in The Rocky Horror Show, Sheila in HAIR and Maureen in Rent. She has sung with many local bands, including Brian Carpenter and The Confessions, Reverend Glasseye and HUMANWINE. Jen is also an occasional back up dancer for “Weird” Al Yankovic. Since 2003, Jen has also been seen around town as her alter ego; Boston burlesque icon, Mary Widow. Mary Widow is a founding member of New England’s original horror burlesque troupe, Black Cat Burlesque. Mary was a proud original member of the cast of The Slutcracker from 2008-2013, playing almost every possible role in the show, including Clara and Drosselmeyer, during her tenure with the company. -

Meff is also an accomplished playwright (28 Seeds), songwriter, and drag performer, most recently performing writerly duties as the co-creator of the upcoming comic series Pitchblende. Walter was born on the sea and has dedicated his life to, and makes his living from, music and visual art. Walter's art is showcased in museums and private collections world-wide and he routinely collaborates with authors, other visuals artists and musicians. Walter is the founder and impresario of the SteamCRUNK band Walter Sickert & the ARmy of BRoken TOys who have been described as "Musically sophisticated and immensely talented, wildly unusual and diverse in material and presentation, a Dada-esque circus carnival run amuck, and just plain good ‘not-always-so-clean’ fun". Walter is inspired by such things as Hieronymus Bosch, The Tiger Lillies, Érik Satie, Salvador Dalí, Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, Lewis Carroll, Aleister Crowley, Terry Gilliam, and Alan Moore. @WalterSickert

Julian Crouch
Julian Crouch is a director, designer, writer, and teacher whose career has spanned Theatre, Opera, Film, and Television. Julian was a founding member of Improbable Theatre and was co-director and co-designer of the international and West End phenomenon SHOCKHEADED PETER. Other shows for Improbable include SATYAGRAHA in a co-production with the English National Opera and The Metropolitan Opera, SPIRIT, which Julian directed, and which was a co-production with The Royal Court, COMA, which he co-devised and co-designed, STICKY, THE HANGING MAN, COMA and 70 HILL LANE. He designed and was associate director on the multi award-winning JERRY SPRINGER: THE OPERA at the National Theatre, West End and UK tour. Other recent productions include HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH (Broadway); BIG FISH (Broadway); CINDERELLA for The Dutch National Ballet, DR ATOMIC for The Met / ENO, THE MAGIC FLUTE for Welsh National Opera, the Broadway musical of THE ADDAMS FAMILY, and THE ENCHANTED ISLAND for The Met. His most recent production was THE DEVIL AND MISTER PUNCH which he devised, directed and designed, and has just finished a sell out run at the Barbican, London. Julian is Artist in Residence at the Park Avenue Armory in New York City. Julian has received a Tony Award Nomination for Best Scenic Design of a Musical for HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH. -
Phelim McDermott
Phelim McDermott has been directing and performing since 1984. He co-founded dereck dereck Productions with Julia Bardsley, and productions include Cupboard Man, as solo performer (Fringe First), Gaudete, as co-director and performer (Time Out Director's Award), and The Vinegar Works, The Glass Hill and The Sweet Shop Owner, all as director. Other directing includes Alex (The Arts Theatre and tour), The Ghost Downstairs (Leicester Haymarket); Dr Faustus and Improbable Tales (an entirely improvised two-hour play at Nottingham Playhouse); The Servant of Two Masters, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and The Government Inspector (West Yorkshire Playhouse); and A Midsummer Night's Dream ( English Shakespeare Company in 1996/97, TMA Award for Best Touring Production). He co-wrote with Lee Simpson and appeared in Get Off My Foot. He directed Shockheaded Peter (London and Little Schubert Theatre Off Broadway), with Julian Crouch; a junk opera collaboration with The Tiger Lilies for Cultural Industry (Olivier Award for Best Entertainment, TMA Best Director Award and Critics Circle Best Designer Award). He developed a musical version of The Addams Family for Broadway with Julian Crouch and Elephant Eye Productions and directed The Metropolitan Opera's 125th Anniversary Gala and the world premiere of The Enchanted Island. Productions with Improbable include the multi award-winning 70 Hill Lane, Lifegame, Animo, Coma, Spirit, Sticky, Cinderella, The Hanging Man and Theatre of Blood (a collaboration with The National Theatre). He also directed Philip Glass' Satyagraha, in collaboration with the English National Opera and The Metropolitan Opera. In 2003 he was awarded a NESTA fellowship to research new ways of rehearsing and creating theatre using Improvisation and Process Oriented Conflict Facilitation Techniques. As part of this work he has facilitated many Open Space Technology events. He was made an Honorary Doctor of Middlesex University in 2007. Current productions include the world premiere of Philip Glass' opera The Perfect American for ENO/Madrid. -
Martyn Jacques
Martyn Jacques, the founder of The Tiger Lillies, spent much of his early years living above a brothel in London’s Soho. He is a self trained musician and singer, playing mostly the accordion, piano and ukulele. His hauntingly beautiful falsetto has become The Tiger Lillies’ trademark and combined with his dark and edgy songwriting style has led to him being widely known as the ‘Criminal Castrato’. Martyn has composed music for and performed in numerous shows all over the world and enjoys working with artists of all disciplines: from highbrow theatre to circus, and from experimental dance to burlesque and puppetry. He is very proud that The Tiger Lillies have performed in opera houses and rock festivals as well as circus tents and smelly pubs. His music has been used in films (Plunkett & Macleane, Luftbusiness, Drunken Sailor, Return to Nuke ‘Em High) and recently he composed music for The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, which he performed as a live accompaniment to the iconic silent film in his first ever solo show. Martyn has been commissioned by acclaimed American photographer Nan Goldin to compose an original score for her Ballad of Sexual Dependency slideshow project and has actually performed the piece with The Tiger Lillies as a live soundtrack to Nan’s startling images. Martyn’s work has been nominated for a Grammy Award (The Gorey End in 1998) and his memorable performance in cult hit musical Shockheaded Peter won him an Oliver Award. -
Michael Morris
After serving at London’s Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) as Director of Performing Arts in the 1980s, Michael Morris established his own production company Cultural Industry in1988 , developing long term relationships with artists including Robert Wilson, Pina Bausch, Robert Lepage, Laurie Anderson and Brian Eno. www.culturalindustry.co.uk In 1991, alongside James Lingwood, Morris was made Co-Director of Artangel, now established as a leading commissioning and producing organisation working internationally with exceptional artists across the visual arts, literature and performance as well as forging innovative collaborations with film, broadcasting and digital media. www.artangel.org.uk Beyond Cultural Industry and Artangel, Michael is Artistic Advisor to the Manchester International Festival, the London Roundhouse and Robert Wilson’s Watermill Center in Long Island. Steven Bogart
Steven Bogart’s directing credits include a devised play with Amanda Palmer at BARD College, A new adaptation of PINOCCHIO at Wheelock Family Theatre, CABARET, and THE BOSTON ABOLITIONIST PROJECT at the A.R.T., BURNING and LEGALLY at Boston Playwrights Theater, LUNAR LABYRINTH and INTERFERENCE with Liars and Believers. He collaborated on projects with Neil Gaiman, James Carroll, and Kate Snodgrass. He was a 2009 MCC grant recipient in playwriting, participated in the Kennedy Center Summer Playwriting Intensive, and The Freedom Art Theater Retreat. -

Kevin is glad to be returning to Company One Theatre, having worked in technical direction for the Norton-award winning design of THE FLICK, WE ARE PROUD TO PRESENT…, SPLENDOR, and HOW WE GOT ON. Other technical direction credits range from MACBETH, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, SOMEONE WHO’LL WATCH OVER ME, to ANNIE, ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, and THE WIZARD OF OZ. Previous work with SpeakEasy Stage, Boston Children’s Theatre, Bad Habit Productions, among others. Kevin earns his BS in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University this May. -

Projects with New York City Opera include A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC (directed by Scott Ellis, choreographed by Susan Stroman), THE MERRY WIDOW, THE DESERT SONG, LA BOHEME (Emmy Award for best classical production), and H.M.S. PINAFORE (all Live From Lincoln Center); THE MOST HAPPY FELLA; WONDERFUL TOWN; 110 IN THE SHADE; THE PAJAMA GAME; and THE NEW MOON (Live From Woolftrap). Televised productions include THE RODGERS AND HART STORY; THOU SWELL, THOU WITTY (Great Performances); and EMMANUEL AX, YO-YO MA & FRIENDS: A CELEBRATION OF HIS MUSIC (Live From Lincoln Center). Joel Simches
Joel has been an active member of the Boston music scene for over 30 years, played in well over 40 bands, traveling the world as a musician, audio engineer, tour manager and record producer. He has worked with a diverse array of bands including Walter Sickert & the Army of Broken Toys, DeVotchKa, Bang Camaro, Dresden Dolls and Big Dipper. Currently a staff engineer at Watch City Studios, Joel plays in Count Zero, JT7L, Butterscott, Nisi Period, Didactics and Curious Ritual and is executive producer/talent booker of On The Town with Mikey Dee on WMFO in Medford. -
Eric Bornstein
Award-winning Behind the Mask Studio has created masks for many companies, including Boston Ballet, Boston Lyric Opera, Boston MFA, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Underground Railway Theater, Liars & Believers, and Bethesda Softworks in Versailles. Over the last 30 years Eric’s masked characters have been the subject of numerous media features. Local and national media have described Eric as “Boston’s preeminent mask maker”…”a man of many talents” and his masks as “phantasmagoric,” “magnificent,” “Stunning, finely crafted…first-rate,” “eerie/enchanting,” and “gorgeous.” -
Seth Shaw
Seth Shaw is a freelance artist who has worked in numerous forms of media, including stage, film, television, and web. After going to school and working in NYC for years, he moved back to Boston and became active in it's theater community. His work can be seen in the avant garde film "Go Down Death", the DIY web series "Backyard FX", and Cartoon Network's "Fat Guy Stuck in Internet". Aside from sculpture and props, he is a cartoonist and animator. -
Vivian Yee
Vivian Yee is back at Company One after opening the current season with them in the DISPLACED HINDU GODS TRILOGY (KALKI and BRAHMAN/I). She has worked in just about every facet of theatre over the course of her decade in the business, but she always feels most at home in her stage manager's hat. Favorite productions include PRISCILLA DREAMS THE ANSWER (Fresh Ink Theatre Company), BLOOD WEDDING (Northeastern University), TAMING OF THE SHREW (Actors' Shakespeare Project), BOBBY GOULD IN HELL (Fortnight Collective), MOLASSACRE (Northeastern University). She is a proud graduate of Northeastern University. -
Kcarie Lynn Ingerson
Kcarie Lynn Ingerson is a recent transplant to Boston and is thrilled to be working with Company One for second time after working on The Displaced Hindu Gods Trilogy (ASM). Originally from Fargo, North Dakota, is a recent graduate of North Dakota State University with a BFA in Theatre Design and Technology. Favorite productions have included The Altar Boyz, 9 to 5: The Musical (Stage Manager), and Anon(ymous) (Lighting Designer). Kcarie is so happy to be continuing her career in Boston with this excellent production! -

John is absolutely thrilled to work with Company One again after working on WE ARE PROUD. He is currently in the BFA program for Stage & Production Management at Emerson College, and spent the last summer interning for the Oyster River Players back home in New Hampshire. He is completely thankful to all of his friends and family for their support, and to Company One for another wonderful opportunity. -

Annie Tillis is beyond excited to be working on her first production with Company One. Currently a senior at Boston University, she is obsessed with the theatre world and will be continuing to live within it after graduation. This semester she is also working on DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS and BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON with her theatre group on campus, On Broadway. -
