AN INSIDE LOOK

This season we will be bringing you profiles on the performers and designers who bring you the riveting and thought-provoking productions you have come to love from C1. This month meet actors Doug Bowen-Flynn ( Jack Exley), and Costume Designer Kathleen Doyle.

Doug Bowen-Flynn: Doug is thrilled to be making his Company One debut. His Boston credits include Centastage's PICTURES AT AN EXHIBITION, American Repertory Theatre's WE WON'T PAY! WE WON'T PAY!, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company's HENRY V and MACBETH. His on-screen credits include MYSTIC RIVER and THE INVENTION OF LYING among others. Doug is also the current president of the Boston Branch of the Screen Actors Guild, and teaches English Literature at Medford High School. He received a Masters in Liberal Arts in the field of dramatic arts from Harvard.
ÒThe world events, history, human behavior, and responsibility depicted in The Overwhelming make it a tremendously timely and important work, and I feel privileged to have the opportunity to help tell the story.Ó

Recent design credits include: KING LEAR (52nd St. Project), LÕHEURE ESPAGNOLE (OperaHub), THE MAD PIRATE & THE MERMAID (Shakespeare & Company) and MY MOTHER IS A FISH, NINE (Second Avenue Dance Company).
